Film Base is where we find out how our favourite photographers see their world, more often than not the view is from where you’d rather be. This week, Corona Extra pays tribute to adventure photographer Chris Burkard by letting him tell his story in a collection of his own images.

Cast your eyes over his shots you quickly realise how far away he is at this exact moment, probably somewhere in the Arctic Circle. The 26 year old Californian searches for wild, remote and offbeat landscapes as a setting to represent the relationship between humans and our planet. Chris creates intricate moments of clarity – moments of escape, but more importantly a moment that motivates us to unplug and set out on an odyssey of our own.
